School Care Services

This program offers physiotherapy to students with a developmental disability while attending school. It also provides consultation to teachers concerning issues such as positioning, handling and the use of specialized equipment. The service is administered by the Community Care Access Centre, an organization that purchases therapy services from Ongwanada.

Clients must be attending school to be eligible for the program and while priority is given to Ongwanada clients, the program is also open to community clients who meet the criteria for acceptance. A medical referral signed by a doctor is required.
