Cytogenetics and DNA Research Laboratory

The research team working under Dr. Jeanette Holden at the Ongwanada Resource Centre collaborates internationally in the study of genetic disorders associated with developmental disabilities with a special interest in autism, Fragile X syndrome and other X-linked disorders, Down's syndrome, manic depression, learning disabilities, and psychiatric genetic disorders. The laboratory does research searching for genes for Autism Spectrum Disorders and X-linked forms of developmental disability. To participate, please register at www.autismresearch.ca
