Ongwanada Annual General Meeting - June 18, 2013

Ongwanada's Board of Governors invites all families, staff, and interested members of the general public to the 42nd Annual Meeting of the Ongwanada Hospital Corporation.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 4:30 p.m. in the auditorium located at the Ongwanada Resource Centre, 191 Portsmouth Ave. in Kingston.

The event will feature the release of Ongwanada's Annual Report and speeches by Board of Governors President Jan Spencer and Executive Director Bob Seaby.

United Way Spring BBQ

An Ongwanada spring tradition will continue on Wednesday, May 22, with the United Way barbecue taking place at the Ongwanada Resource Centre, 191 Portsmouth Ave., from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The spring barbecue will be the first of a number of Untied Way fundraisers that Ongwanada participates in during 2013. It is open to everyone and it provides a great opportunity to enjoy lunch in spring weather with colleagues, clients, volunteers and friends.

Hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and drinks will be on sale for affordable prices.

Can-Am Expertise Conference

The 1 World Foundation presents the Can-Am Expertise Conference, June 6-7, 2013 at the Glen House Resort , in Gananoque. The theme for this year's event in Back to Basics.

The 1 World Foundation is an international non-profit charitable corporation made up of volunteers from New York State and Ontario, including staff from Ongwanada. Its mission is to assist government, private agencies and persons with special needs through the provision of clinical, special education and administrative training services.
