Broader Public Sector Business Documents Directive

As the Government of Ontario is committed to an open and transparent government and strengthening the accountability for organizations that receive public funding, Ongwanada, as an agency funded by the Ministry of Community and Social Services (MCSS), would like to provide our public with accessible business information.

Below, you will find organizational documents which provide information on the following:
- Ongwanada's mandate and strategic direction;
- an overview of Ongwanada's current and future programs/activities along with a description of these programs and activities;
- an analysis of operational performances;
- a discussion of performance targets achieved and actions to be taken; and,

BPS Accountability Act

The Broader Public Sector Accountability Act, 2010 (the Act) has three directives: Broader Public Sector (BPS) Expenses Directive, BPS Prerequisites Directive, and BPS Procurement Directives. There are two new directives introduced in 2016, which are:
  • The Broader Public Sector Business Documents Directive, January 1, 2016, and,
  • the Ontario Public Service (OPS) Open Data Directive, April 1, 2016.

The following attached policies are in compliance with the Broader Public Sector Accountability Act:
