Ongwanada has had the opportunity to vaccinate many individuals with developmental disabilities, mostly from congregate care settings in the Kingston, Frontenac Lennox, and Addington region. We are fortunate to be hosting four additional clinics at our resource centre at the end of this month and the beginning of May. These four clinics were well received and filled up very quickly.
At this time, we do not have any further vaccine clinic dates scheduled. As I am sure everyone can appreciate, the circumstances around vaccine roll-out are very fluid, with many factors playing a role in our ability to host future clinics, including provincial directives and vaccine allocation. We are hopeful that we will have the opportunity to host additional clinics; if so, we will post the details to our website.
