Senior Director, Corporate Services
Ongwanada is seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Director, Corporate Services to lead all corporate functions, including Finance, Payroll, Information Technology, Fire & Occupational Health & Safety, Transportation & Maintenance, Passport Services, and Project Management. As a key member of the senior leadership team, the Senior Director strengthens the systems, processes, and infrastructure that support high‑quality services for individuals with developmental disabilities across Eastern Ontario.
Senior Director, Community and Support Services
Ongwanada is seeking a strategic, values‑driven Senior Director, Community & Support Services to provide executive leadership across our Supportive Living, Complex Services, and Community Program portfolios. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping organizational culture, strengthening person‑centred practices, and ensuring high‑quality, compliant service delivery for individuals and families across Eastern Ontario.
The Senior Director leads a large multidisciplinary workforce (5–6 direct reports; 300+ indirect staff), oversees program operations and budgets, ensures compliance with legislative and accreditation standards, and builds strong relationships with funders, partners, and community stakeholders.
Permanent Part Time Pharmacist- MNU-26-01
The pharmacist is responsible to work in conjunction with the Director of Pharmacy in providing oversight of Pharmacy operations including: professional supervision of the Pharmacy facilities, equipment, supplies and drug information, record keeping and documentation, drug procurement and inventory management, training and orientation, safe medication practices in accordance with professional and Ongwanada policies and procedures.
Temporary Full Time Physiotherapist- OP-26-11
To provide physiotherapy for supported individuals of Ongwanada.
Temporary Full Time Treatment Counsellor- OP-26-09
Treatment Counsellors will work under the direction of the Supervisor-Specialized Accommodations & Intensive Supports and will support persons served in a specially designated transitional treatment home, and/or designated long-term specialized accommodation.
Temporary Full Time Residential Counsellor- OP-26-08
The Residential Counsellor provides support for and advocates on behalf of supported individuals to meet their physical, psychological and social needs.
Permanent and Temporary Part Time Residential Counsellor- OP-26-07
The Residential Counsellor provides support for and advocates on behalf of supported individuals to meet their physical, psychological and social needs.
Permanent and Temporary Part Time Community Support Worker- OP-26-06
The Community Support Worker provides services and supports for supported individuals in various locations as part of a team under the direction of in charge residential staff to ensure an optimum living environment.
Permanent Full Time Professional Lead, Psychologist
The Professional Practice Lead, Psychological Services is responsible for the oversight, coordination, and continuous improvement of Ongwanada’s psychological and behavioural services.
Summer Student Employment

Summer Employment
Ongwanada recruits a limited number of students during the summer months. The majority of placements occur within the community residences.
Applicants must be enrolled in a post-secondary program, preferably in Health Sciences and will be continuing studies in the fall. Experience working with the developmentally disabled would be an asset.

Teaching Agreement Placements

Student Placements
Ongwanada became a teaching site for student placements in the 1980s, at which time the Board of Governors indicated that in order to safeguard the dignity and rights of clients, placements would proceed only if a teaching agreement is in place with the educational institution.
Ongwanada is involved with programs at Queen’s University, St. Lawrence College and many others.
