Volunteers also offer fun and leisurely activities to those we support in the comfort of their own Ongwanada homes and other Ongwanada sites.

“I am very excited to be heading back to school but I will definitely miss Doug, Best Buddies, and Ongwanada. Best Buddies was the most rewarding experience of my time as a student. Doug became such an important person in my life over these past 4 years. I will miss him dearly but I know that I will continue to stay in contact with him.”

– Anna Streib – Best Buddy volunteer who has graduated from Queen’s University and is headed off to study Physiotherapy.
