ONGWANADA

Supportive Living Services

Ongwanada serves as the lead agency for various Supportive Living settings, including supported group living environments with three or more adults with developmental disabilities living together in a community home. Paid support is provided up to 24 hours a day, contingent on the support needs of the people living in the house. Support outcomes are aligned with each person’s individual support plan. Ongwanada operates over 20 community-supportive living settings located in neighbourhoods in Kingston, Napanee, and Gananoque, as well as surrounding areas. Varying levels of support are provided at each home. Many homes are fully accessible and have access to transportation that enables people to be more active members of their communities.
