re: False Positive COVID-19 result
Dear Ongwanada family members:
Further to my memo of December 31 regarding a COVID-19 positive staff member, the result of a repeat test performed on the employee has returned negative. Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington (KFL&A) Public Health Unit have classified the initial test result as a “false positive” and have advised that, as a result of this all isolation requirements introduced can be revoked. All affected partied have been so informed.
Thank you for your understanding and please be assured that we will continue to keep you informed and updated as necessary.
