re: MCCSS vision reform

Dear Ongwanada family members,

For the past year, the Ministry of Children Community and Social Services has sought input from people with developmental disabilities, families, service providers, and academics into the government’s plan to reform and improve developmental services. This plan has just been released.

The following link lays out the ministry’s long-term vision for developmental services in Ontario, where people with developmental disabilities are supported so they can participate in their communities. It is a vision where people live meaningful lives and have access to the same opportunities and services as their fellow Ontarians.

I would encourage you to take a few minutes to review this vision for the future of the developmental disabilities sector in Ontario.

Please accept my best wishes.

Yours sincerely
