Ongwanada played host to an art show and exhibit on Wednesday, October 5, at the Resource Centre. It was the first event of its scale for Amy Fenton and was a huge success. Amy had over 50 paintings, pieces of jewelry, and wood decorations on hand, with almost everything selling out by the end of the day.

Thank you to everyone that attended and showed their support. Amy hoped that she would raise enough money to be able to take a trip to Toronto and possibly visit Ripley’s Aquarium. We are happy to report that she raised $750.

Local media personalities Reid and Ben from the Move 98.3-morning show even stopped in to show their support and purchase some art.

Stay tuned for details on Amy’s next art show!
